We specialize in the assessment and treatment of OCD and OCD-related disorders across all ages. Treatment consists of evidence-based approaches that help our patients to weaken the cycle of worry and improve overall life satisfaction. We currently provide two levels of care at LOCD: outpatient & intensive outpatient programming. Evidence-based approaches utilized in the provision of OCD treatment include exposure with response prevention (ERP), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and mindful self-compassion. Individual and group options are available for care.
The OCD IOP is a 14-day program of intensive treatment using ERP for all ages. The patient attends two 90-minute individual therapy sessions per day, and has the option to attend groups and/or meet with a psychiatric provider for medical support. Patients are assessed prior to being scheduled to determine whether an IOP is the best level of care.
