Welcome to my private practice. I work with families, adults, couples, and parents. I work with my individual clients to manage stress, build more satisfying relationships, manage life transitions, and improve self-esteem. I help couples improve communication, build closer connections, and increase sexual intimacy. I work with parents to manage stressors of family life, including balancing family with personal care needs, and addressing their child's emotional or learning difficulties. I teach and/or supervise for Louisiana Tech University, University of Louisiana Monroe, Northwestern State University, and Louisiana State University in Shreveport. I frequently present to mental health centers, community organizations, and schools.

The suffering that emerges from struggles with mental health and substance use issues, problem gambling, and life-altering events can leave us feeling overwhelmed, lost, and alone. Hello! I'm Colette (she/her). I am a dedicated and compassionate therapist committed to a holistic approach to mental health. Holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from LSU and a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southeastern Louisiana University, I bring a unique blend of expertise in both medical and psychological fields. As a PLPC and Nationally Certified Counselor, I draw upon 7 years of education and hands-on experience in the Health Science and Wellness fields. I am trained in Trauma-Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and operate from a Humanistic perspective.

I am deeply passionate about helping people heal from trauma, addiction (porn addiction, sex addiction, sexual shame and trauma), financial/work disorders, infidelity, abuse/neglect, PTSD, OCD, anxiety, and depression. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and my passion in life is working with children and their families.
