I have over 14 years of experience conducting psychological evaluations & helping children, teens and families who are experiencing difficulties in school and/or at home. Areas of specialization include unwanted behaviors, anxiety, ADHD, dyslexia and learning difficulties.
In therapy sessions I take a "strengths based" approach with your child starting with what's going right and what makes them feel successful. I let them know that I'm on their side and working together as a team, we can make things better. I have found an open, non-judgmental approach with some humor scattered throughout works best with the children I see.
My neuropsychological evaluations are thorough and often involve an observation of your child in their classroom, a review of school records and teacher interviews. If my evaluation results indicate that your child is likely to be eligible for a 504 plan or an IEP, I will help you navigate the system and connect you to these school based services.
