With the stress of the modern world, our hustle and bustle culture, and the limited time we have for connection today- people come to therapy looking for a place to let it all out. It's easy to fall into cycles of negative self talk, worry, or old triggers from our childhood. One thing I know for sure is we can't heal all on our own, and finding an authentic connection who can support you is invaluable. I can offer warmth, compassion, perspective, and mindfulness with a healthy dose of humor. I am here to help you guide and explore your feelings and reassure you that you are indeed, not your negative thoughts.
My approach is to be as radically accepting of who you are and where you are as possible! My theory is grounded in self-compassion and SFBT. I am trauma informed, somatically focused, and IFS trained. I work w/ anxiety disorders, bipolar, grief/loss, adjustment, LGBTQIA+ clients, relationship difficulties, medical challenges, body image issues, and more.
I love to get a feel for your goals and help you implement those changes together. Every person is different and you will be treated as a unique individual with me.
