My name is Lou Bardach (he/they), and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Internal Family Systems (IFS)–trained therapist. I specialize in working with adults—including LGBTQ+ individuals and adult children of alcoholics or dysfunctional families—who struggle with the lingering effects of childhood trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and self-criticism. Many of my clients feel stuck between wanting closeness yet fearing it, or trapped in old survival patterns. I integrate parts work, inner child healing, and mindfulness practices to help you develop clarity, resilience, and greater self-compassion.
I help by guiding clients through IFS parts work, inner child reparenting, and trauma-informed mindfulness practices. In our first sessions, we’ll clarify your goals, begin mapping your inner world, and build trust with the parts of you that most need care. My approach is collaborative, flexible, and tailored to the healing language that works best for you.
I am passionate about this work because I know from personal experience that these approaches truly help. Healing the wounds of the past, quieting the inner critic, and building healthier relationships is possible.
