I am a generalist social worker who treats clients for a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, relationship problems, and especially grief, bereavement and loss. I have a great deal of experience with LGBTQ clients. Having worked at Purdue for 14 years I saw many young adults through the coming out process. I have also worked with clients from many diverse cultures around the world. I am client centered, and believe people can change their lives through talk therapy, emphasizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Psychodynamic therapy. I enjoy my work assisting adolescents and adults to make life changes.
I have a long history of working with grief and loss issues. I have worked as a hospice social worker, and have worked with many clients in over 20 years of practice on issues relating to loss such as death, illness, bereavement, relationship loss, health loss and job loss.
