I know that a lot of these profiles look the same, so I’ll skip the things that everyone says. Here’s the truth: I can’t help you on my own. Therapy takes teamwork. I will listen to you, I will validate you, and I will give you tools. The choice is yours of whether you pick them up and use them. I have been providing therapy in a variety of settings for over 20 years- community mental health, residential facilities, military clinics, and via telehealth. I have seen a broad range of issues- anxiety, mood disorders, PTSD, life changes, postpartum struggles, family violence, struggles with identity, and many more.
I know that finding a therapist that “gets” you can be particularly challenging for some folx. I was a military spouse for 17 years. I am queer identifying and gender affirming. I am kink aware and ENM/poly aware. I am familiar with a number of earth-based faiths. I have completed Level I Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy.
In addition to several places in the United States, I have lived in England, Turkey, and Germany. Through my travels, I have been to over 40 different countries and territories across four continents, which has added to my passion for culturally competent care.
