Hi there, I'm Lorrie. I'm so glad you are reaching out for help. That's a huge first step, and often the hardest part of your journey to health and happiness. My approach to therapy is holistic, addressing the needs of your mind, body and spirit. I integrate mindfulness, yoga and breath-work along with traditional talk therapy to address your challenges. I work with trauma, anxiety, and relationship issues. You might not imagine that your struggles with anger, anxiety or depression are from past trauma. However, most people have experienced some sort of trauma, whether from childhood, abusive relationships, or COVID.
The symptoms are similar and treatable. Whether you're dealing with trauma, overwhelm, or relationship issues, I'm here to help. Seeking out, and then showing up for therapy can be hard, but you are making the right choice! We'll work together using evidence-based techniques that are proven to help you manage your struggles and find peace of mind.
In our first session, we will work together to identify and set goals for your therapy. You will leave with some concrete tools and practices to manage stress, overwhelm or grief.
