I have been providing behavioral health services for over 45 years and feel that I am uniquely qualified to assist individuals and families in reaching their potential and overcoming personal challenges. I utilize a strengths-based perspective and a holistic approach that incorporates mind, body, and spirit. I provide a thorough assessment and determine with you what intervention is best suited. I have worked extensively with people of all ages and cultures and feel that it is important to create a safe environment where self reflection and transformation can occur.
My specialties include depression, anxiety, various forms of trauma (e.g. military related trauma, interpersonal violence, child abuse, sexual assault, ect.), I am also skilled in working with couples and families. I am skilled in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Informed Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy as well as psycho dynamic therapy.
I provide consultation, supervision and workshops to practitioners and I am retired from an academic position at Governors State University after 18 years of teaching. These endeavors have kept me abreast of current knowledge in the field of behavioral health. I am dedicated to helping others achieve their life goals.
