I enjoy working with adolescents, adults and seniors who are feeling troubled about conflicts, life changes/transitions, anxiety, childhood trauma, PTSD, grief and loss, and depression. I collaborate with you to establish a relationship in which all of your emotions are welcomed expressions of self. I provide a safe and nonjudgmental environment in which to explore your struggles and to find a path to a happier and healthier you.
I use a client centered therapeutic approach to help clients with healing and growth. I am trained in and have experience using family systems, sand tray, CBT, action methods (role play), motivational interviewing, and attachment theory.
I have worked with teens and adults suffering from PTSD as a result of childhood trauma. Grief is part and parcel with trauma. I have facilitated grief groups for adults, children and adolescents. I look forward to being with you and accompanying you on your journey.
