I am licensed in Arizona with 45 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, depression, motivation, self esteem, and confidence, alcohol and substance abuse, and career difficulties. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. I approach therapy by utilizing a holistic approach. The first few sessions are important in getting to know my clients. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a wonderful resource in examining current and past behaviors. In learning the CBT process we are able to unlock many unhealthy patterns of behavior and create lasting change.
Since childhood I always wanted to help people. I thought about becoming a nurse but when I realized there were bodily fluids in nursing, I opted out of that career. I learned I could help people without coming in contact with bodily fluids. Wonderful!. I became a therapist.
