Hi, my name is Lori and I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. I, too, have had my journey of ups and downs with the help of professionals along the way. My approach is eclectic, direct, caring and provides a safe and open space for you to open up and process what's on your mind.
I have had 13 years of experience in community mental health with a focus on trauma treatment, DBT and CBT. While I don't adhere to any one modality I find the approach that best suits the client and their needs. It takes courage to begin the counseling process and I aim to make it comfortable and there may even be some laughs.
I have been in the healthcare professions for many years and have seen how helpful therapy can be.. I am here to be your guide through the challenges.
