Counseling provides a means to healing. I specialize in treating clients who are at least 6 years old through adults. Children may face difficulties with anger management, bullying, physical aggression; difficulties in school, with peers or family members; and defiance. Issues for others may include but not limited to building coping skills for parenting, anxiety, depression, anger, grief, divorce/separation, teen pregnancy, domestic violence, physical/sexual abuse; sexual assault, P.T.S.D., relationship issues, communication skills, and conflict resolution. I work with youth and adults individually, as couples, and/or families.
I graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 1996 with a M.A. in Guidance and Counseling and am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor. I am also a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor.
I have 20 years of experience in counseling children and youth as a school and college counselor. I've also experience providing career counseling and parenting skills in addition to providing individual, couple, family, and group counseling. Currently, there is a wait list for new clients.
