A wise woman once asked me, “When there is no judgment present, what is alive in you? What wants to be lived inside of you?” I wonder what comes up for you. Therapy is about addressing that second reality we all carry within, the one that seems invisible, indescribable and often untouchable. Sometimes, terms like “anxiety” or “depression” (to name a few) don’t pay justice to your experience, because what you hold is not just a label but a multidimensional story.
Most life experiences are lived non verbally; thus, talk therapy can only go so far. Using an overall Jungian orientation, I use trauma-informed interventions that target emotions and sensations beneath the spoken word. I stand in a non-judgmental space where I welcome the existential, the overthinking, the highly sensitive, and the deeply imaginal.
I have worked with individuals, groups and couples in psychiatric settings, intensive outpatient programs and private practice. My training includes sandtray therapy, emotionally focused therapy, dream tending and trauma work.
