Welcome! I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) located in California. I have been practicing for 8 years. I focus on helping the person get the life they want to have. I have worked with a wide range of people as young as two years old to over 65. I want my clients to learn to advocate for themselves. I have a very active approach to treatment. The therapeutic approaches I take are a combination of ERP (Exposure with Response/Ritual Prevention), Solution focused, ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), and CBT(Cognitive Behavioral Therapy).
I love working with individuals who feel challenged or stuck in their life and desire to make changes but may feel stuck. My clients are eager to improve but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed and doubt themselves.
I actually wanted to be a math teacher. I had a passion for helping students who were stuck. I transitioned into mental health because my desire to help people was stronger than my desire to teach math.
