Lorie M. Ammon's Groups

Womens Group Therapy

We focus on interpersonal interactions to help with emotional difficulties and to encourage the personal development of the participants in the group. Members of the group share with others personal issues which they are facing, events involved in during the week and problems s/he had tackled. Members can share feelings and thoughts about what happened in previous sessions, and relate to issues raised by other members or the leader's words. Sharing reactions, giving feedback, within an acceptance of group allows all to not feel alone with her/his problem and that there are others who feel the same.
