Sometimes we all feel overwhelmed, anxious and alone. Maybe you or your teen are not sure where to turn or how to get help. I can help you find strength when you are trying to push through the hard stuff.
I am skilled in supporting teens and young adults through some of life's toughest years. Many of my clients have experienced trauma, depression, anxiety, and emotional regulation problems that negatively impact their family, academic and social relationships. I regularly work with neurodivergent populations and understand each individual wants to feel safe and supported in a judgement-free environment.
Clients can expect personalized support to determine their counseling goals. We practice Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in sessions. We support finding life balance, improved emotional regulation, challenge negative thought patterns, learn coping, build resiliency and create boundaries for healthy relationships.
It can be hard to find supportive, accepting people without judgement and expectations. I use a culturally sensitive approach to help clients find their path to overcome problems from past experiences and perceptions. My clients experience respect without stigma in an inclusive environment. We seek client strengths and help improve self-esteem.
