I specialize in a dual approach combining talk therapy with the use of expressive arts and creativity during the therapeutic process. It gives those who find it difficult to acknowledge or verbalize feelings with words, including children with autism, an alternative opportunity to explore complex feelings for healing and growth.

Expressive art groups forming now!

Pre-teen and teen girls group for ages 8-17. We will be exploring areas such as, anxiety, self-esteem, bullying, coping with complex feelings and emotions, family relationships, personal growth and understanding. These types of groups change from time to time depending on need and interest. Call me if you need more info or are interested in any other specifics concerning future groups. All expressive projects are designed tailored to each specific group and it's specific goals according to age.

preteen expressive art/ self esteem, girls 9-11

A group for preteen girls and teen girls. This art group explores the concepts of peer pressure, bullying, body image, insecurities, self esteem, personal choices, as well as family and peer relationships in a safe environment through expressive visual art projects and group discussion. Group will meet once a week for five weeks. Each session lasts approximately 1&1/2 hrs. Registration and payment is required prior to first session. Groups held Fall and Spring. Call for details of next scheduled group for fall beginning in late September, 2016.
