About
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor - Supervisor with over eight years experience developing and leading groups and working with adults, adolescence, and couples in areas of depression, anxiety, authenticity, anger, shame, body image, relationships, significant mental illness, substance abuse, and trauma. I also have experience working with gender and sexuality issues. My goal is to collaborate with my clients and help them find creative solutions to their concerns.
In addition to traditional talk therapy, I tend to use psychodrama, which is an action oriented approach to therapy. I also focus on somatic responses to increase the mind-body connection. I find that this increases the effectiveness of treatment.
I believe we all struggle at times and need the support of others to move through our difficulties. Therapy is something we do over the course of life to help us through our pain as well as our moments of growth.
