Hello, I'm Lori, welcome to my profile page! Working with families has always been a passion of mine. Since 1994, I have worked with families with the goal of facilitating effective communication and emotional health. It's not easy growing up in the Bay area today. I grew up on the Peninsula and it is a totally different world now for our kids. I have two teenagers myself, and the pressure they feel to succeed sometimes feels insurmountable! I lead several teen groups. Teen groups provide a safe place to come and talk about those challenges.
I specialize in teen and young adult counseling. Group work is a very effective way to help teens feel safe in talking about their emotions. I run several teen groups and I really, genuinely love working with adolescents!
Fuller Theological Seminary Graduate. I am in private practice and I am affiliated with Christian Counseling Centers in San Carlos and One Life Counseling. Even though I am Christian, I work with people of all faiths and have a very open mind when it comes to alternative faiths and lifestyles.

Teen Group
Teen group helps build self esteem and learn skills to help with anxiety and depression. Another major focus is effective communication, conflict resolution and how to have deeper relationships with friends and family. It is a safe and fun place to talk about what really matters to teens.
