Hello, my name is Lori Davis. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker practicing in psychotherapy with a specialty in geriatrics. I feel it is an honor to assist clients as a supportive, collaborative, and empathetic facilitator in mental health, emotional well-being, and developing resilience. I typically work with adults, seniors, and couples dealing with depression, anxiety, life transitions, health, grief, loss, and parenting issues.
My therapeutic practice is client-centered therefore I use multiple forms of evidence-based therapy best suited to individual clients. Therapies most often initiated are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Psychodynamic Therapy (PDT).
I support and collaborate with clients in developing treatment plans, setting short and long-term goals, which hopefully inspire client confidence and empowerment. The first therapy session will focus on getting to know client, building rapport, understanding client’s goals with therapy, gathering information, and developing a treatment plan.
