I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with specialty training in trauma and grief as well as Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). This training brings a unique skill set to my practice as a therapist by combining expertise in mental health with conflict resolution techniques. I enjoy helping individuals, families, and couples navigate complex interpersonal issues and gain insight into their trauma history to understand how it affects them currently. Providing support for clients across all age groups with an eclectic toolkit of therapeutic approaches, I like to personalize care for each client.
I utilize Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients challenge and change unhelpful thought patterns, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to assist individuals in managing intense emotions, increasing mindfulness, and improving relationships.
Through Motivational Interviewing, I collaborate with clients to enhance their commitment to change, and apply Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), to help clients focus on embracing emotions and committing to personal values. I also incorporate Trauma-Focused CBT, Internal Family Systems, and other modalities (EMDR) to address complex trauma.
