I will work with you to develop a trusting relationship, with the focus to work together to better understand and resolve the conflicts that hinder you from living a fulfilling life, and to learn healthy strategies to cope with stressors.
I have received training in a variety of therapeutic approaches including substance abuse, differently-abled individuals, ADHD, complex trauma, chronic illness and chronic pain. I also treat individuals with anxiety, mood disorders, self-esteem issues, adjustment issues, trauma, and grief. I am certified in EMDR.
I have an eclectic approach, incorporating therapeutic techniques that focus on each individual in a culturally-sensitive, non-judgmental environment. I am a former music therapist and implement expressive arts therapy into my practice when applicable. Life can feel like a roller coaster at times and change is hard.
