Whether you are struggling with a mental health issue, past trauma or grief, or managing major (and not-so-major) life transitions, I aim to assist in improving your ability to manage life's challenges. I use a variety of approaches with my clients and will work with you to develop a trusting relationship and collaborate on what works best for you - at your pace - to better understand and resolve the conflicts that hinder you from living a fulfilling life and learn coping skills along the way. I see teens, adults and older adults and my areas of expertise include trauma, grief, neurodivergence, chronic pain/illness, women's issues, anxiety and mood disorders. I use modalities that meet your individual needs, including DBT, CBT, mindfulness and somatic therapies. I am certified in EMDR, ADHD, and trauma.
I have an eclectic approach, incorporating therapeutic techniques that focus on each individual in a culturally-sensitive, non-judgmental environment. I am a former music therapist and enjoy implementing expressive arts therapy into my practice when I can! Life can feel like a roller coaster at times and change is hard.
