My specialty is trauma/complex post traumatic stress disorders and addiction/substance abuse, - I seek to help my clients learn self-regulation skills and strategies to reduce and manage emotions, tolerate distress and develop more effective interpersonal skills for healthier communication. In order to be effective, I think it is beneficial to be open to trying different methods/therapies. I believe in creating a tool box filled with ways to cope with what life throws at us. We will practice these new behaviors until integrated into your life, ultimately leading to less conflict, anxiety and stress.
