Hello, I'm Lori Alford, LCSW, and I have been practicing as a licensed therapist for over 30 years. I have degrees in psychology and social work plus many years of training in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy. In my practice, I am dedicated to helping clients manage their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors in a healthier way while they navigate life's challenges. I work alongside my clients to help them feel better, target problematic behaviors, and reach their goals.
I work with adults, 18 and above, who are experiencing emotion dysregulation, anxiety, depression, and anger and who are having difficulty coping with life stressors. I have many years of experience working with all different ages and stages of life. My background includes leading programs for adults with mood disorders, addictions, and a postpartum group.
The tone of our sessions will be non-judgmental, supportive, and positive. I will strive to help you feel comfortable and understood so that you can achieve the changes that you seek. My goal is to work alongside you and to actively listen to your concerns and issues. You will learn skills to feel better and make progress on your goals.
