Kids can be tough and unfortunately they do not come with instruction booklets. As a Registered Play Therapist (RPT-S) and Certified Theraplay Therapist I am here to help. I work with families to reduce behavior issues and increase communication and connection.
I specialize in working with children who have experienced trauma including medical trauma. I also work with adoptive families who are experiencing attachment issues. I have worked with many families who are simply just struggling with behavioral issues and would like some help understanding their child's needs.
I am a certified Theraplay Therapist and have received training in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Filial Therapy, Sand Tray Therapy and Dr. Bruce Perry's NMT approach. Our practice focuses on the needs of the entire family and we welcome a collaborative approach.
