It’s often said that the only thing constant in life is change. Though change can be a good thing, some changes are challenging, confusing, and isolating. Especially in light of ongoing systemic issues, it's understandable to feel frightened for the future.
As a therapist, I aspire to deliver integrative, culturally sensitive, and patient-centered therapy that is driven by empathy and flexible to your needs. I have a passion for working with underserved communities, including BIPOC, LGBTQ+ folx, and clients from low SES backgrounds.
I use an integrative style based primarily on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and person-centered therapy. Though I use a variety of techniques (including grounding and reframing), I value building rapport and processing through conversation. I value warmth, humor, and humility. Laughter and tears are welcome.
