I approach our work together with the belief that meaningful change begins by recognizing what’s working and honestly exploring what needs to shift. I use a goal-oriented and strengths-based lens, helping you build on your existing resilience while developing new strategies to move forward with intention. I always lead with compassion, as this is hard and brave work to do. I believe that at the heart of much of this work is grief—not always grief from a death, but often unspoken grief that comes with change. Any time we grow, whether we’re navigating relationships, identity, transitions, etc., there is a kind of loss.
The folks I work with are typically in the midst of or on the brink of a personal shift. Whether you're navigating loss, coming out to yourself or family members with your queer identity, facing hard conversations with family, entering the world of online dating, or starting a new job, you're carrying a lot.
I am calm, patient, and a reflective listener. I ask a lot of questions to deepen my understanding of your inner world. I offer suggestions based on what I am hearing that I welcome folks to take or leave. I do my best to act as a mirror for you, so that you can see yourself more clearly.
