Are you struggling at figuring out your self-identity as a Deaf/Hard-of-Hearing/CODA person? Are you wanting to make some big changes in your life, but are not sure how or where to start? Do you feel like you want to live a more authentic life? Are you feeling sad, angry, anxious, or worried, and are unsure why? Are you feeling like you have unresolved issues in your relationships? Oftentimes, we find ourselves trapped by self-defeating patterns in effect prevent us from creating the lives we want for ourselves. With this in mind, I facilitate healing and encourage my clients to form self-love, to trust in themselves.
Depression, anxiety, grief and loss, body image concerns, healthy relationships, addiction, and personal identity are primary topics I treat. My approach to counseling is person-centered, solution-focused, and provide cognitive behavior technique tools. My two beliefs in counseling are therapeutic rapport and confidentiality.
I am a Deaf therapist who can work with Deaf/Hard-of-Hearing/CODA clientele by using American Sign Language (ASL). I work with clients who live anywhere in the USA. Sessions can be done via Videophone/ FaceTime/Zoom. I offer a free 15-minute consultation to see if we are the right fit to work together.
