I work with clients who have tried the usual routes and still feel like something's missing. They're often neurodivergent, queer, ENM, or figuring out their identity later than the world told them they should have. Many are first-gen or BIPOC, people who grew up without access to this kind of support and aren't sure they deserve it now. What brings them here is usually exhaustion: from masking, from not fitting, from managing a life that wasn't really designed for them. That's where occupational therapy shines! Instead of helping you fit the mold, we redesign the mold.
I'm an occupational therapist with a PhD and specialized training in lifestyle medicine, which is a fancy way of saying I help people build daily lives that actually fit them. My approach is somatic and practical. We pay attention to the body, not just the mind. Sessions are via telehealth, California-wide.
I grew up not having words for who I was (not for being neurodivergent, not for being asexual, not for the kind of relationships I wanted). I found those words late, and it changed everything.
