EMDR Therapy has helped many of my clients be relieved of trauma symptoms that have kept them from feeling in control of their responses by feeling less triggered. A dialectic behavioral therapy approach helps my clients improve managing relationships and decision making learned in families & driven by biology. Consulting & Coaching are also a passion.

My counseling training from Dallas Theological Seminary gives me an understanding of the significant role one's faith & values have on decisions regarding work, relationships, and parenting. For those who desire Christian counseling, my approach taps into a person's faith to promote healing and address shame, anxiety, and false guilt.

DBT or Dialectical Behavioral Therapy group is for the teen struggling with coping with managing the ups and downs of their emotional states. How you manage your own emotions impacts how your ability to tolerate distress or manage relationships with others including parents and friends. This setting provides a safe place for teens to learn the skills, and then go out and practice them through the week. My team enjoys working with teenagers and look forward to meeting the new group members.
