I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Certified Sex Offender Treatment Provider (CSOTP) in the state of Virginia. In 2017 I graduated from Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia with two master’s degrees in Forensic Psychology and Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I completed my Practicum at a non-profit serving individuals with dual diagnosis mental health and substance abuse disorders. I later completed my two semester internship at Counseling and Forensic Services, Inc – Where I am currently working as a Therapist.
Throughout my training I am proud of the diverse and varied populations and issues I have worked with. I have worked extensively with adolescents and adults on issues such as substance abuse, anger management, sexual offending, anxiety, depression, and suicidal ideation. This experience allows me to be prepared for any issues you may come to session with.
With private clients, I tend towards a client-centered approach; this means that we will work collaboratively to set goals and expectations for sessions. Through my forensic work I have a solid understanding of CBT, which can provide tools to understand your thought process and change your behavior.
