Lies keep us stuck. Many of us believe lies about our past, ourselves, and others. "What happened was my fault." "There must be something wrong with me." "No one is trustworthy." These are all mistaken beliefs that I have helped clients identify and replace with truth. When we work through this process together - gently and compassionately - there is so much freedom to be found! Being able to not just get through the day and take care of basic needs, but being able to thrive and dream: This is what I love working on with my individual clients.
For couples counseling, I specialize in helping couples rebuild trust after betrayal. The aftermath of a betrayal can feel confusing and hopeless. Together, we will work to understand the root of what happened, develop key communication skills, and help you learn to trust and enjoy each other again. You CAN experience healing and intimacy after betrayal!
