I also work with couples and families that are having difficulty feeling connected due to high conflict. I am trained as a Marriage and Family Therapist, and work to regain peace and communication to families and couples that are dealing with high levels of dysregulation. I have all advanced training completed in Emotionally Focused Couple's Therapy (EFT).
I am an intensively trained DBT therapist through Marsha Linehan's Behavioral Tech, LLC and provide comprehensive individual DBT therapy. I also have advanced training in Prolonged Exposure for PTSD and Specialized Training for working with families that have high levels of conflict.

Groups
Middle School DBT Skills Group
The DBT Skills Group for Middle School Students is appropriate for 12-14 year olds that may struggle with self-injurious behaviors, self-esteem, impulsivity, managing emotions, and relationship difficulties. This will be an on-going group that will adhere to protocol put forth by Behavioral Tech, LLC, and consist of the four modules: distress tolerance; interpersonal effectiveness; emotion regulation; walking the middle path. Each module will include mindfulness.

Parent/Caregiver DBT Skills Group
DBT Skills Class that will provide family members an understanding of behavioral patterns in themselves and the distressed teen; encourage the contributions of all family members to a mutually validating environment; and address need to improve skills in all family members. The group is 8 weeks long.
