Many people feel disconnected from their true selves going through life looking o.k. on the outside but feeling awful on the inside. This causes all kinds of symptoms: depression, irritability, anxiety, alienation, boredom, dissatisfaction, lack of motivation, and disinterest in life. Through our work together, I help you to access deeper parts of yourself which can bring back vitality and meaning into your life. Problems often arise from childhood issues or from life transistions; college, marriage, birth, divorce, or death of a loved one. Through developing a deeper connection with yourself suffering can be transformed into growth and strength.
I am a certified Jungian Child and Adult Psychonanalyst and a licensed Clinical psychologist specializing in psychotherapy and analysis with adults, children and teens. I use verbal and nonverbal therapy, dreams, art and Sandplay therapy to help people get in touch with their inner voice as a path to better life satisfaction.
I have a non-allergic dog in the room with us which adds warmth and humor. I believe in a deep heart connection. My advanced training as a Jungian psychoanalyst helps me to better understand you. My use of Sandplay and art, and my work with very young children makes my practice unique.
