I specialize in the evaluation and treatment of depression, anxiety, OCD, Panic Disorder and PTSD across the life span. I am trained in evidence based treatments including ERP, DBT, CBT, ACT and CPT. I have worked at Silver Hill Hospital, in New Canaan, in a private hospital inpatient and residential setting, as well as outpatient settings, such at Child Mind and Center for Anxiety in NYC, and Family Service League in East Hampton. I have treated medically complex patients experiencing mood and anxiety disorders, personality disorders and substance use.
My expertise is in evidence-based treatments including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), cognitive processing therapy (CPT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and acceptance commitment therapy (ACT). I provide Individual Therapy, Couples Counseling and Parenting Skills.
We will start with problem identification and set targets for therapy. It will also be important to learn about who you are - your values, strengths and passions - so that we can identify tools; based on acceptance, mindfulness and values, to achieve your goals.
