I am first, a client-centered therapist. I believe therapy should be about the client and be met with unconditional positive regard. There is no place for judgment in therapy, and I am here to help you process and make your own decisions, not to tell you what to do. I specialize in Trauma and working with the LGBTQ+ community and have extensive training working with these populations, including transgender individuals and gender dysphoria.
I can be solution-focused; however, I believe in listening to the client above anything else. I am trained in EMDR and very comfortable in using this modality via telehealth. I use Gestalt Therapy techniques, along with Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) techniques to help clients explore ongoing emotions in the here and now.
I am a licensed psychotherapist Licensed in Florida, Montana, and Utah.
I earned a Master of Clinical and Counseling Psychology from Capella University. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC), and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). I am fluent in English and Spanish.
