I have 20 years experience working with children and teens in multiple settings, including Birth to Three, schools and clinical settings. Most of my career has been supporting individuals with overcoming both difficult and traumatic events in their life. I primarily utilize trauma focused treatment, including EMDR, to help clients remove barriers from past or present trauma and emotional pain, so they can get back to living their life. I have a passion for empowering clients to reach their full potential in their healing journey through a collaborative and nonjudgemental approach.
My specialization includes working with a variety of life stressors including trauma, grief, divorce, sexual abuse, depression, anxiety and learning disabilities. I believe in the mind/body connection and utilize an authentic approach to reaching clients by meeting them where they are at.
I am aware of the challenges and uncertainty related to having a child with mental health concerns or diagnosed with a learning disability or developmental delay.
