About
I believe that moments of transition provide powerful opportunities to examine and understand why and who we are, what we can do to accept ourselves while making the changes we want to see. Whether that transition is around perinatal experiences, employment, relationship challenges, or any other way our identity changes over time, it is my privilege to help people come through feeling healthier and stronger than they did before. I firmly believe that everyone that I work with has the power to be who and what they want to be. My job is simply to help them find their way.
I specialize working with women across the course of their lives, though I find myself drawn to people facing perinatal challenges, dealing with trauma, or who are looking to recreate or reclaim their identity. I come from a strengths-based perspective and blend psychodynamic techniques, CBT, ACT, IFS, narrative and solution-focused therapy.
I believe that no one should be judged because they aren't who or where they think they ought to be. Wherever you are in your process I'm happy to help however I can, often blending humor with compassion. By reaching out, you've already done one of the hardest steps in the process of changing. Let's see if we can get you through the next ones together.
