My approach to therapy is relational and authentic. Research suggests ‘successful’ therapy is less about modality than the therapeutic alliance: I offer proven techniques from psychodynamic, CBT, and somatic therapies to help you cultivate what we all want--good feelings that last. If your history includes neglect/abuse or other forms of trauma, you may learn ways to calm your nervous system, tolerate difficult feeling states, and thrive at work and in healthy relationships.

Healthy relationships are how we reach our full potential. You may feel yours is failing or your partner wants to leave. Take a deep breath! A crisis is an opportunity to deepen connection. I also treat sexual concerns: mismatched desire, problematic sexual behavior, anorgasmia, and pelvic pain, among many others. Kink knowledgable. LGBTQ+ and ENM allied.

I hold a certification in Sex Therapy from the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists and am trained in multiple Couple Therapy models to address problems with closeness/attachment, stubborn conflicts, infidelity, and consensual non-monogamy. You will learn to communicate in ways that are kind, nonjudgmental and caring.
