Are you going through a transition in your life? Feeling stuck and find it difficult to move forward? Many times, when things do not go as planned or the way we hope, it can feel stressful, confusing and sometimes overwhelming. I specialize in helping individuals, particularly young adults, teenagers, and school-age children, in navigating these challenging transitions (e.g., struggling in school, failure to progress in college, experiencing anxiety or depression, etc.). I work with people who need more than just “talking” with a therapist. My approach to therapy is unique.
I merge a combination of traditional talk therapy with EEG Biofeedback (i.e., neurofeedback). I help people learn about how their brain and body work together, and this helps you better understand yourself or if you are a parent, your child. When you explore more about how your mind works, you quickly realize that change is not only possible but is healthy.
This journey is a collaborative one, and I work closely with any other professionals with whom you work to design a treatment plan. I am very open, thoughtful, and willing to work with you on your goals at a pace that feels comfortable to you.
