I'm a psychotherapist with a passion for helping people change their lives. I'm an author and podcaster. I specialize in anxiety, depression, addiction, menopause, family, women's issues, and weight loss. I myself have been in recovery for over 23 years from alcohol. I help people with the goal of living happy fulfilling lives. I believe that everyone deserves happiness and that laughter is a great healer. I'm spiritual, I practice meditation and exercise daily. I feel animals are beneficial to healing all people. I was in the addiction field for many years specializing in opiate dependency.
I've worked with psychiatric hospitals, CMH, private psychiatry and Rose Hill Center. My training and experience are diverse. This enables me to engage with clients in all situations. I'm strong in trauma, suicidal ideation, Bipolar and sexual abuse. My journey of recovery and empowerment was recognized by the Dr. Phil show and I was invited as a guest.
I love animals and mother nature. I'm a professional Chef since 1982, cooking is a great love of mine. I have created a sanctuary of peace and beauty to treat my patients and me.
