I am passionate about supporting moms experiencing anxiety, overwhelm, and stress. I also love working with couples with young kids (school aged and younger) who are navigating the complexities of balancing marriage and coparenting. I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused therapy, but strive to find the right treatment for each client as an individual. I am Phase 1 Brainspotting trained, have advance training in perinatal mental health and am Level 1 Gottman trained. I am licensed in MD & PA.
I love working with moms. The transition to motherhood is so rewarding, yet so challenging. It can be lonely & anxiety-provoking. Finding the right work/life balance as a mom can be particularly difficult. Together, we can work through these phases and help you feel competent & comfortable in your role as a mom!
Perissos Therapy focuses on women's issues and specializes in supporting moms in ALL the stressors, specifically including how mom-ing impacts your identity and your relationships. I have experience supporting moms from pre-conception, fertility struggles and perinatal and infant loss. I also love supporting young parents through couples therapy.
