Hi! Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I believe self-exploration takes courage, and a genuine therapeutic connection is built with compassion and the freedom to grow. I am committed to meeting clients wherever they are in their personal journey, as we seek new perspectives, hope and healing. I received a Bachelor's from Texas Tech, a Master's from Lubbock Christian & have a range of clinical experience as a counselor with children and adolescents, a bereavement counselor, a collegiate counselor in a residential treatment center for drug & alcohol dependence, as well as a therapist in the private practice setting.
I work with individuals, couples, and families varying in gender, age, race, sexuality, spiritual and religious beliefs, education level, and socioeconomic status - all are welcome. For clients who wish to pursue faith-based counseling, I am able to incorporate Christian principles into our sessions.
While my approach is integrative, and therefore tailored to the specific needs and preference of each client, I have found great success integrating EMDR into my practice.
