Maybe trauma, stress, anxiety, or OCD have your nervous system stuck on high alert. Maybe you're struggling with hypervigilance, irritability, fatigue, intrusive thoughts, feeling disconnected, or shutting down. Maybe you're managing burnout, depression, relationship struggles, attachment wounds, or patterns you understand intellectually but still can’t seem to change. With a background in social justice, many folks I work with tend to be queer, neurodivergent, activists, & others who want therapy that makes room for identity, relationships, politics, and the larger systems we live within.
My approach integrates EMDR, somatic / nervous-system work like the Safe & Sound Protocol (SSP), with psychodynamic, attachment-based, & relational therapy. We'll work from the bottom up building regulation, safety, & capacity while also going deeper into your identity, life experiences, & patterns that shaped how you experience yourself, others & the world.
Our work together isn't about fixing what's "wrong" with you. It's about understanding your experiences, how you adapted, & finding out what is possible when we have more awareness & options. My approach is a deeply relational - you're the expert on your own life. I'm here to be curious, authentic, and serve as a supporter and collaborator in your process.
