Our lives don't often offer the non-judgmental space to work through trauma, heartache, and overwhelming stress. Talking with a therapist is different from talking with a friend or family member because you are free of obligations. It is all about you, and I will ask helpful questions, point out connections and patterns, and simply give you space to put yourself first and talk through your experiences.
I have worked with those managing anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges as well as those living with mood disorders and PTSD. I have special experience working with older adults, artists and creatives, career challenges and burnout, and people living with HIV or other health conditions.
Therapy works when the therapeutic relationship is trustworthy, open, direct, and comfortable. People I have worked with call me warm, friendly, approachable, easy to talk to. I think this is because I always find common ground, something to chuckle about together, and make a point to show you that you aren’t alone in this.
