I enjoy working with individuals struggling with substance use, trauma, adjustment issues, and suicidal ideation. I’ve worked with clients in several stages of life, including adolescents and adults from a variety of backgrounds. I currently specialize in working with individuals in the LGBTQ+ community, with a particular focus on gender identity.
I believe in helping individuals find agency within their lives. It is my philosophy that everyone, regardless of individual challenges, should have access to the tools of self-improvement. As a therapist, my goal is to empower clients by helping them gain insight into how their thoughts and behaviors impact one another.
As a therapist I prioritize building a partnership with clients to help learn or reawaken the skills and strengths needed to cope with the turbulent circumstances life presents. With every client I focus on building rapport and developing a good understanding of the person as a whole and the environment that is their life.
