I am so glad that you found me- come as you are! My practice is geared towards children, adolescents and teenagers, as well as providing parental support. I am a Registered Play Therapist and utilize child centered play therapy for children ages 3-9 and activity based therapy for those above 9 years of age (dependent upon the needs of the person). I have experience working with infants and toddlers as well, by providing education and support to parents/families.
With a foundation in child/client-centered trauma informed therapy, I integrate anti-oppressive practices that honor each person's cultural, intergenerational resilience, and community care. My work is guided by a vision of a world where everyone is free to play, feel safe, and to fully be themselves, without the pressure to assimilate to western society.
My approach is grounded in the principles of collective liberation. I support children, families and individuals through connection, creativity, and justice. I center the wisdom of each person, while recognizing and validating how systemic oppression- racism, ableism, poverty, and other forms of marginalization, impacts their emotional well-being and family.
