Whether you are feeling stuck with traditional talk therapy and are looking for something different or you are trying therapy for the very first time, I would be honored to walk with and support you on your journey. I am passionate about working with older teens and adults who have experienced something traumatic—whether in childhood or later in life— and who are curious, motivated, and willing to explore therapeutic methods they may not have tried before in order to reach new levels of healing. If you are looking for a warm, inviting space where you don’t have to navigate things alone, I may be a good fit for you!
I am an EMDR Certified therapist who integrates parts work, somatic and craniosacral methods, and other experiential techniques to help my clients achieve their therapeutic goals. My approach is collaborative, client-centered, and strengths-based, and my goal is to empower my clients to access the healing power that already exists within themselves.
In addition, having had a prior career in animal-training, I now incorporate this passion into my work through inviting my therapy dogs, Bear and Ankira, to join in the therapeutic process. Their presence offers a unique and special resource for clients that is often beyond words.
