My approach to therapy is about connection and self-compassion. I use a direct approach in a relaxed environment without judgement. I have a particular interest in working with people who have relationship issues, lack of connection to their emotions, or who are going through life transitions. I have extensive experience integrating somatic work with the science of attachment and nervous system regulation along with attunement. I am certified in Somatic Experiencing and use DARe Attachment along with EMDR in most sessions.
My therapeutic approach is to deepen your understanding of you and how your past and present connect. I take an eclectic and holistic approach and use a variety of evidence-based techniques including, EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, and Brainspotting. I don't believe in practicing from a distance, I bring my real self into the room in an accessible and open way.
I work with individuals to find empowerment and help them learn to have more full-filling lives.
